Come see TEDxStanleyPark 2016
Ever since I learned about TED talks I’ve wanted to know more. Where do all these ideas come from? And how do the speakers funnel their ideas into ONE cohesive thought? And how can these thoughts cause social change? Is it even possible?
Like I said, I have questions.
TED stands for technology, entertainment, design—together these three topics are shaping the world. A TED conference showcases important ideas, exploring how they connect with each other.
On May 28, 2016 TEDxStanleyPark brings ideas to action with 15 local thought-leaders from niche industries ranging from biopesticides to sex therapy.

To guarantee life-changing entertainment the speakers have worked with mentors for the past year working, reworking, and rewriting draft after draft.
Some of the speakers are on draft 15
Their hard work is paying off. I spent a day interviewing the speakers and am still thinking about the conversations. All the speakers are accomplished entrepreneurs who are making a remarkable impact in their areas. It was so inspiring I found myself wishing their passion would transfer to me. Sometimes I feel so stuck. Distracted. Bored.
Thanks to TEDxStanleyPark 2016 for offering a $20 discount to my friends who’d like to attend this year’s conference. Use the promo code “Robyn” at the checkout and you’re in!
This year’s talks cover four main themes
- Become a better person—live without regrets, become your best self, learn what makes you special
- Make real connections—with self, with others, with community
- Leave an impact—personal, social, professional
- Change the world—through awareness, through education, through social change
TED Talks have become more than a conference. TEDxStanleyPark is your chance to innovate and discover ideas worth spreading—putting those ideas into action to make our city and our world a better place.
So you’re coming, right? We can carpool.
One more thing. You may be interested in my free resource library. This is where I keep my files, downloads, ebooks, worksheets and whatever else I manage to create. I love sharing what I learn and want to keep adding to this library so it becomes a wealth of helpful goodness.
This is a free resource but I do require a password to access the library itself. You can get access by popping your email address into the form below.
