Being a freelance copywriter is a great career path for anyone who enjoys writing compelling copy and longs for a flexible schedule.

Become a better freelance copywriter
Those who have the creativity and business acumen to run a freelance business will love the rates you can command as a copywriter. But in order to scale your business and charge those top fees, you’ve got to be organized.
If you miss your deadlines or submit sub-par work, you won’t find that sweet spot as a freelance copywriter. Freelancers live and die on reputation and you need to make sure your professionalism is second to none.

Here are three apps that help freelance copywriters manage their workloads
Log your ideas in journal and notebook apps
When you’re working on many different projects at once, it’s easy to become overwhelmed by all the different thoughts and ideas floating through your head.
Whenever you have a thought or want to leave yourself a reminder, jot it down in an app! You log the note down where you can find it later and your brain is free to come up with your next great idea.
Use a Calendar App For Deadlines
Staying on top of your deadlines and assignments is SO important. A good calendar app is will become your brain and a lifeline. Whenever you get a new gig, add the due date to your calendar right awy. If you use an app like Google Calendar, you can sync it with your phone or other smart devices.
I use Trello for my assignment calendar and I set up reminders, which are emailed to me ahead of time to make sure I stay on top of things.
Be a Better Freelance Copywriter Through networking apps
Networking is super important to running a freelance business. And even if you’re good at meeting people, you still need a system for staying in touch. When you’re a busy freelance copywriter, it can be easy to neglect following up with leads and fellow freelancers. But it’s so important! Use a customer relationship management app, or even something as simple as a spreadsheet app to keep a list of your contacts and other notes such as how you know them, what they do and the last time you connected. You won’t regret it!
Once you start using these organizational tools, you will find it so much easier to keep on top of things, which will help you be a better freelance copywriter.

One more thing. You may be interested in my free resource library. This is where I keep my files, downloads, ebooks, worksheets and whatever else I manage to create. I love sharing what I learn and want to keep adding to this library so it becomes a wealth of helpful goodness.
This is a free resource but I do require a password to access the library itself. You can get access by popping your email address into the form below.
